Private Aufguss

Aufguss is a sauna ritual where the sauna master places ice balls infused with essential oils on the sauna oven and pours over water. As the water evaporates, it increases both humidity and the temperature inside the sauna. Using special towel techniques, the sauna master then circulates the warm, aromatic steam throughout the room, often accompanied by music.

Hamam for groups

The Hamam at The Well is a social group ritual inspired by traditions from the Middle East and the Ottoman Empire. The experience begins with an introduction in the Hammam Lounge, before continuing into the steam bath. Here, you relax on a traditional heated marble bench before exfoliating with a special scrubbing glove and rich soap foam. The olive soap and exfoliating glove leave the skin feeling fresh and silky smooth.

The ritual concludes with a cup of Turkish tea in the Hammam Lounge. A host will also be available throughout the experience, offering snacks and beverages for purchase.

Ice Bucket Experience

This activity is perfect for groups looking to challenge themselves. You will be guided through an intense cold-water experience, immersing yourself in our 300-litre tubs filled with fresh water and ice. With water temperatures of just 2–4°C, this experience delivers a powerful adrenaline boost. Participants are encouraged to remain in the ice bath for approximately six minutes, testing both physical and mental resilience.

Rhassoul

Rhassoul is a traditional Moroccan clay ritual that begins with an exfoliating salt scrub applied to the entire body. This is followed by a nourishing clay face mask and a softening clay treatment for the body and hair. The clay is left to work for approximately 15 minutes, during which guests relax in a beautifully lit steam bath with high humidity. The ritual concludes with a refreshing shower and a hydrating mist spray.

Foam Ritual

The Foam Ritual offers a taste of the traditional Turkish hamam experience. Performed in our Hamam area, guests exfoliate their skin using a special kese glove, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. While exfoliating, one of our bath masters prepares rich, warm foam, which is gently poured over the body for a deeply cleansing and relaxing sensation.

Using specialised towel techniques, the sauna master circulates the warm steam throughout the room, often accompanied by music. The ritual concludes with a full-body scrub, which guests apply themselves before rinsing off in the sauna.

Banja

Banja is a traditional sauna ritual performed in a high-temperature sauna. The sauna master uses ice balls infused with natural birch extracts, placing them on the heater to release aromatic steam. Using bundles of birch branches, the sauna master distributes the steam throughout the sauna, creating an invigorating and authentic experience. The ritual can be adapted to both moderate and high heat, depending on the group’s preferences. The experience concludes with a refreshing cold plunge or shower.

Floating Sound Bath (New!)

The Floating Sound Bath is a deeply relaxing sound ritual in our warm mineral pool. You rest weightlessly on a comfortable floating mattress, gently covered with a soft peshtemal and an eye mask for complete relaxation. As you float, our spa host plays singing bowls with calm, harmonious tones. The vibrations move through the space and your body, creating a holistic experience of peace, presence, and wellbeing. This immersive ritual allows you to release tension, quiet the mind, and find deep inner balance in an atmosphere defined by stillness, warmth, and luxury.

We have developed our own exclusive spa kit featuring products from the Scent of The Well Signature collection. The kit includes a facial cleansing gel, body scrub, facial exfoliator, face mask, and hair treatment. All products are neatly packaged in a stylish toiletry bag. The spa kit is available for purchase at the reception and in the Wellness Bar.
