Onsen

Onsen refers to an outdoor hot mineral bath. The onsen at the Japanese bathhouse is scenically located between two beautiful gardens. From the shallow pool, there is a fantastic view of the treetops that surround The Well. 

The water temperature is approximately 38°C.

Japanese Shower

In the Japanese bathhouse, there is a spectacular shower. Enjoy a refreshing and sensory shower after a warm and intense aufguss in our Japanese Sauna. Be embraced by a gentle flow of water that cleanses and revitalizes your body, all in a calm and harmonious atmosphere.

Japanese Sauna

The Japanese sauna is large and bright, with high and dry heat. From the sauna benches, you can enjoy a view of a Japanese garden designed according to traditional principles. The three levels of sauna benches allow you to adjust the heat exposure to suit your preference. 

In the Japanese sauna, aufguss is held several times a day. The atmosphere and lighting in the sauna change throughout the day, so you can experience completely different sensations in what is The Wells' largest sauna.

Japanese Steam Bath

The Japanese steam bath is filled with a red light that creates a relaxing atmosphere. In the steam bath, there are wide benches where you can lie down and fully relax. The steam opens the pores in the skin, making it soft and supple. Additionally, the steam has a positive effect on the airways.

Temperature: 40 - 47°C
Humidity: 80 - 100%

Japanese Meditation Sauna

A spacious and airy sauna with foldable day beds, offering a tranquil retreat. The large windows let in plenty of natural light and provide a beautiful view of the Japanese garden. In the Japanese meditation sauna, guests can practice meditation or take part in a tea ceremony.

Temperature: 45°C
Humidity: 20 - 30%

Japanese Lounge

Take a break during your spa day in the Japanese lounge. Sink into the sofas with soft cushions and feel free to take a nap or meditate. The Japanese lounge always has a fire going in the fireplace, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
